Mr. Daniel Fuentes San Vicente (Chef Danny) possesses a four-year bachelor degree in gastronomy from the Instituto Suizo de Gastronomía y Hotelería located in Puebla, one of the premiere institutes for Gastronomy education in Mexico. He graduated as a top 10% student in his class.
Alongside his outstanding academic achievements, Mr. Fuentes San Vicente enhanced his knowledge with on-the-job experience. Mr. Fuentes San Vicente worked as a Summer Cook in the restaurant “Don Cipriano” in Buenos Aires, Argentina; as a Consultant Chef for the Office of Public Education in Puebla and as a Summer Sous Chef at Camp Pontiac in Copake, NY.
After the completion of his studies, Mr. Fuentes San Vicente continued developing his career in the food service industry. He worked in the renowned “Fiesta Inn” Hotel and in the restaurant “SUR 82” in Puebla before moving to the Cancún area, one of the main Mexican tourist destinations. Mr. Fuentes San Vicente worked simultaneously as: head chef in “Torero Restaurant Tapas and Bar”; Consultant Chef in “Puerto Aventuras Catering and Events”; and he later Co-Owned and operated his own restaurant called “Latitude 20”.
Given his experience, he was hired as a food and beverage consultant by the Bailleres Family. As one of the wealthiest families in Mexico, the Bailleres family have high standards for their respective staff members and subordinates. Being hired by such family means recognition of his accomplishments in the field.
After these endeavors he worked as a food and beverage consultant for Webster Foods Management in Houston, Texas.
